Boundary Markers
Boundary Markers are fun and powerful to work with. Essentially, what they do
is mark off a section (or sections) of text, so that when you do a search-replace
or a search-color-replace, you
only search within the areas you have marked off.
You will recognize the boundary marker as shown in the image below.
Below, you will see that I have two sections marked off, so only they will be searched:
The section in the middle, which is the very same text, will be disregarded.
The results after the search show no editing was done by the search-color-replace function
outside of the boundary markers. This can save a lot of time, and, prevent things from
being marked that you do not want to have marked.
Although Tachufind will check, make sure that when you put in your boundary markers, that
it results in an
even number of boundary markers!
The following button is used for
deleting all boundary markers, once you have finished your search,
and, in a pinch, if you cannot determine why you have an odd number of boundary markers,
you can delete all of them and start over.
